Keeping in tradition with previous years we offer a platter inspired by the holiday season and its produce. søren k’s Christmas platter is served at lunchtime and needs no booking in advance. For parties of more than 10 people, however, we do ask you to make a booking in order for us to be able to give the best service possible.

Pickled duck and calf’s jaw with bitter leaves and acidic onions    
Pork glazed with beet sugar and Christmas ale served with sour cabbage
Hay-smoked Danish Brie with sweet and crunchy extras

Christmas menu – lunch and dinner

During the holiday period søren k offers a special Christmas menu served at both lunch and dinner at a cheaper rate than out normal a la carte menu. The menu needs no advance booking but if you want to make sure that it is not sold out, we recommend that you make a pre-order. For parties of more than 10 people we do require advance booking in order for us to give you the best service possible.

Pork glazed with beet sugar and Christmas ale served with cabbage sausage, apple puree, sour cabbage and kale

Honey cake with pickled pear and malt ice cream

Dinner

2 courses kr. 285,- per person

Scandinavian Christmas buffet

Traditional Christmas buffet with a twist of søren k. We serve this buffet for parties of more than 25 people, to be booked 4 days in advance. The buffet is served at dinner in Regine – the function room above søren k.

Fresh fish from the auction – breaded and fried with cauliflower pickle and lemon

Pork glazed with beet sugar and Christmas ale served with sour cabbage
Rib roast from Grambogaard with Christmas spices, “cabbage in cabbage”
Danish ducks with apples and prunes
Boiled and caramelised potatoes
Stewed kale and gravy

3. tempi
Hay-smoked Danish Brie with sweet and crunchy extras                    
Ris á la mande – rice pudding
